What is urology?
Urology is concerned with the prevention and therapy of all diseases of the male and female urinary tract. The urological focal points include the therapy of inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract (urinary tract infections) as well as stone diseases in the urogenital tract (ureter and kidney stones). Andrological dysfunctions have become increasingly important in recent years. In the course of this, you and your partner will receive professional advice on erection problems, the early recognition and treatment of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation and competent advice on an androgen deficiency of the aging man and its effects on the quality of life of the man.
Your urologist identifies problems and finds the optimal treatment
In addition, the diagnosis and therapy of male infertility in young couples who wish to have children is an important task of a urologist. Dr. Anton Stangelberger will also be happy to assist you in questions of family planning, for example, he performs vasectomies in his surgery in the Villa Medica. A special focus is the diagnosis, therapy and tumor aftercare of urological cancers. In addition, we also treat children's urological problems in our urological surgery. Urinary incontinence and neurourological problems (bladder dysfunction and nervous system control) are also a growing problem, especially in an aging population. These problems are also clarified and, if necessary, treated. Contact your urologist in Mödling: Dr. Stangelberger.
